Zimata.com is a new hosting company that offers very competively priced plans. For this review, we’re going to take a look at what their Corporate Plan has to offer. At this writing, Zimata was also running several specials for new customers that included free domain names and other features.

You’ll get 25 gigs of data storage and 400 gigs of monthly data transfer with this plan. Considering the monthly price is just $9.94, this is a fantastic bargain. You’ll be allowed to host 10 different domains from one account, which makes this a great hosting plan to run a small reseller business off of. 30 subdomains are included and ten FTP accounts are provided. It’s nice to see the amount of FTP accounts match the amount of allowable domain names. Many hosts in this category neglect this area, or only offer 1 main FTP account.

One major downside is that only 4 MySQL databases are offered with this plan, which may make reselling a bit difficult. It was not mentioned whether you could add extra databases, so you may want to check with Zimata’s sales department before making your decision if this is an area of concern for you. On the plus side, several features such as 3,400 perl modules, crontab, custom error pages, support for SSL and daily data back-ups are included.
