CWCS, a hosting provider in the UK, announced that they have upgraded one of their hosting plans. Their starter plan will now include 400 megs of space, up from the previous 250 and the allowed amount of email addresses has been increased from 3 to 10.
According to the company, this plan also offers 24/7 phone and email support and servers are also monitored 24/7. CWCS has been in business for seven years and specializes in providing hosting services to small and medium sized companies.
In addition to their starter plan, CWCS also offers reseller hosting, virtual private servers and dedicated hosting solutions.

VitalStream Premiers New Flash Player
VitalStream, a provider of streaming media services, announced that they have released a new Flash player. The VitalStream Media Player will include enhancements for flash based videos.
According to the company’s release, the new player’s “Key features include standard media player controls such as play, pause, volume controls and a video scrub bar, at-a-glance data on file name, total running time, audio and video data rate and video frame size, zoom in and out functions for viewing video at 100 or 200 percent, and access to a time code display.â€

Peak10, a provider of managed services, announced that they have expanded their data center, located in Tampa, FL. The center has been increased by 30% and according to the company, this expansion will allow Peak10 to maintain their high level of security and quality.

GoDaddy, a provider of discount domain name registration and hosting, made the news again this week when they announced that they have upgraded their webmail tool. According to the company’s release, their webmail is now, “fraud, spam and virus protected, POP3-configured and advertising-free.â€
Customers of GoDaddy will now be able to get an instant preview of their email, the ability to drag and drop messages, single click searching and more if they use GoDaddy’s Web Based Email 4.0.
“Email is a critical communications tool for our customers, from big corporations to individual home users,” said Bob Parsons, GoDaddy.com CEO and Founder. “Thanks to feedback from customers and input from our development staff, I’m proud to say that version 4.0 is our best email product to date, rivaling any email plan in the marketplace.”
