Downtown Host Launches New Blog Hosting Plans
Downtown Host, a provider of hosting solutions, announced that they are now offering a hosting plan geared towards bloggers. These plans start under $6 per month and according to the company, offer “people who want to develop a blog but have limited or no knowledge of html coding or computer programming skills,†the ability to do quickly and easily.
In addition to this announcement, Downtown Host is also launching a new affiliate program that features high payouts. Currently, the host is offering $40 for the first 25 customers sent, and then $60 for the next 40 customers, finally reaching $100 after that point.

Intermedia.NET Offers Free Mac Entourage Software
Intermedia.NET, one of the leaders in Microsoft Exchange and regular hosting plans, announced that they are now offering a free copy of Entourage for Macs to new customers. All customers have to do to receive their free copy of Entourage is sign up for an Exchange hosting plan with Intermedia. These plans start at $9.95 per month per user.
“Many industries use the Mac as a standard office computer and wish to take advantage of Microsoft Exchange’s productivity-boosting features,†said Michael Choupak, CEO of Intermedia.NET. “Now that Intermedia.NET offers Entourage as a free download, companies using Macs can sign up and get started with a cost-effective hosted Exchange solution in a matter of minutes.â€

Host Gator’s Top 1,000 Resellers Average 49.5 Hosted Web Sites
Host Gator, one of the leading reseller hosting companies announced that their top 1,000 resellers are now averaging 49.5 sites per account, while their top reseller has 827. The accounts of over 8,000 resellers with the company were analyzed to come up with the average.
“We are extremely pleased about the fantastic progress our reseller partners are making,” said Brent Oxley, president and co-founder of Host Gator. “Starting from scratch and getting up to nearly 50 hosted sites is a testament to the enormous business potential of our reseller program.”

TemplateMonster Rolls Out New “Blogosphere†Templates
TemplateMonster, one of the leading providers of site templates, has announced that they are now offering new templates geared towards the “blogosphere.†The company was pleased to begin designing templates for Word Press 2.0.2, one of the most popular open-source blogging utilities.
