Verio Launches New Podcasting Tool

Verio, a provider of hosting solutions announced that they are now offering a new podcasting tool.

According to the company, “Verio’s new podcast function enables customers to easily set up and manage multiple RSS Feeds needed to deliver audio and video podcasting from their site. Customers must still create and record the podcast audio or video content separately, with the Verio tool enabling businesses to post these content files.”

Dennis Boyle, Chief Operating Officer for Verio says, “With Verio’s hosted podcast tool, customers are empowered to create Web content to reach a vast number of people on an ongoing basis via portable devices.”

Hosting Promotion from Webhost Automation Extended

WebHostAutomation, a provider of hosting services, announced today that their Microsoft backed hosting promotion has been extended. According to the company, their popular Helm control panel will remain at 50% off the regular price.

The decision came after Microsoft agreed to back their promotion, in order to encourage more customers to try Windows hosting. It is also hoped that the promotion will encourage more hosting companies to add the Windows platform to their hosting options.

Lonex Upgrades Hosting Plans

Lonex.com, a provider of hosting services in the United Kingdom, announced today that they are upgrading their hosting plans. According to the company their “Business plan has been increased from 2.5GB to 15GB and the traffic from 40GB to 300GB.
