TechnoMax Offers New Hosting Solutions

TechnoMax, a provider of ecommerce and internet solutions announced that they are now entering the world of web hosting. According to the company, their new services will be offered by their new brand, NetLocations.com.

“The network provides 100 percent uptime through our load balanced system that employs RAID-SAN technology to provide site replication in real time and through it, constant site availability,” says Wally Gross, The Technomax Group president. “Making it affordable to any business was another issue and we’ve added that feature as well; no budget meetings are needed.”

The company states that their network has never had any downtime in the past five years and their VHS hosting system offers hosting for both Windows and Linux services. The plans offered by TechnoMax will, according to the company, make enterprise level hosting affordable for businesses.

Entrust Teams with Oracle

Entrust, a company specializing in internet security, announced that they have formed a new partnership with Oracle. According to the company, the two will collaborate to form, “Entrust IdentityGuard [which] is a comprehensive multi-factor authentication platform for Internet and enterprise applications. The company says that the interoperability and Entrust’s support of the Oracle Identity Management Ecosystem and Reference Architecture will allow applications accessed through Oracle Identity Management to leverage a range of authentication options delivered by Entrust IdentityGuard.

“The interoperability between Oracle Identity Management and Entrust IdentityGuard provides the foundation and flexibility for enterprises to deliver standards-based comprehensive identity and access management capabilities while addressing an enterprise’s current and anticipated strong authentication requirements,” said Hasan Rizvi, Vice President, Security and Identity Management Products, Oracle.

“As the move to consolidate and extend access to legacy and web applications continues, better identifying users via strong authentication becomes critical,” said Entrust Senior Vice President Kevin Simzer. “Enterprises are seeking a single solution that offers a range of authentication choices at a cost effective price, making Entrust IdentityGuard unique in the marketplace.”

Terramark Worldwide Looks for New Growth Opportunities

Terramark Worldwide, a provider of Tier-1 Internet Exchanges and network solutions is planning to expand their operation. According to the company’s recent press release, “the company will seek to expand its existing portfolio of services, infrastructure and data center operations in existing markets and infrastructure in additional strategic markets.”

Terramark also stated, “given the importance of this strategy to the growth of the company going forward, the company has engaged Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC to assist in evaluating its alternatives to pursue such growth.”

Peak10 Opens North Carolina Office

Peak10, a leading data center, announced that they have opened a new sales office in Greensboro, North Carolina. This prime location will allow the company access to what is known as the “triad” region and will provide support for their offices in Raleigh and Charlotte, NC.

“Having an office in the Triad region will allow us to develop stronger relationships with our current customers in the area and to better capture new opportunities in this growing market,” says Jeff Spalding, VP of sales and marketing for Peak 10. “We have the largest data center footprint in North Carolina and the Triad region is uniquely positioned to take advantage of our data center facilities in the state.”
