Hyperspin Adds Reseller API

Hyperspin, a provider of hosting services, announced today that they have launched a new reseller API. According to the company, the API is free to use, but you must be a current reseller customer of Hyperspin.

“The API has been designed to afford our resellers both flexibility and stability when interacting with our application. The addition of this tool dramatically increases the revenue potential of our resellers,” says Hyperspin president ChoonKeng Chua. “We have been expanding, refining, and tweaking the API for over six months now, and I am fully confident that it will be embraced by our reseller community. It is certainly one of the most robust and feature-rich APIs in the industry.”

The company states that the new API includes, “billing systems, as well as aiding with creating accounts, obtaining client lists, upgrading client service levels, adding SMS credits, suspending, reinstating or closing accounts and obtaining the reseller’s own account status.”

Inftek Launches Hosting Division

Inftek, a retailer of computers, announced that they have launched a new hosting division for their company.

Kevin Davy, CEO for InfTek says, “These new offerings allow customers in the SMB market to develop a web presence quickly and easily, without worries of downtime or maintenance”

According to Inftek, they will begin offering, “managed web hosting solutions to small and medium sized businesses that include custom application and site design, domain name registration, website hosting, email hosting, online shopping carts, and affordable SSL secure certificates.”

HostGator Announces Free PHP and MySQL 5.0

HostGator, a provider of hosting services, announced that they are now providing PHP 5 and MySQL 5 free of charge, for all of their customers.

SWSoft Releases Site Builder 3.1 for Windows

SWSoft, the maker of the popular utility Site Builder, announced today that they have released Site Builder 3.1 for Windows.

“We have worked in close partnership with Microsoft to increase the overall flexibility and customization potential of SiteBuilder for Windows,” said Kurt Daniel, vice president of marketing and alliances, SWsoft. “Enhancements such as customizable page sets, site families and images deliver increased differentiation for consumers and business end users. In addition, the installation process has been streamlined to give administrators the ability to download only the components they need.”

The new version will be completely integrated with Plesk 7.6, which is due to be released in late June 2006.
